Questions raised about "private" tour of Graceland offered by Joe Esposito: EIN has received a number of comments regarding the "Ultimate Elvis Tour" sweepstakes competition being run by Joe Esposito on his new website, tcbjoe.com. There were suggestions EPE had not agreed to Joe conducting a 'private' tour of the mansion, which is one part of the prize. EIN contacted EPE for clarification and their response confirmed what we had been told: "Graceland and Elvis Presley Enterprises, in no way, supports or is cooperating with Joe on this contest. Thanks!"
Apparently to enter the sweepstakes fans need to "buy" a ticket or tickets. (News, Source: Emails/EPE)

What isn't mentioned is he fact that it is not a contest if you have to buy tickets. Not mentioned is how many are led to believe they will win if they buy x number of tickets. Not mentioned is the fact that they interview people over the phone because they don't want "the Crazy Fans". So does this mean your tickets you bought won't get picked if you don't meet the standard? Sorry Tinkerbell. Also what is not mentioned is that hints are made to the idea Elvis is Alive. What a possible meeting? Nah couldn't be but hey that would certainly entice one to buy 500 tickets wouldn't it? Gee Joe all your credibility down the tubes. WHY? I am shocked that you would do this. In fact it is mind boggling. Even more shocking is that Graceland didn't even try to cover for you. Boy this is one for the books.

I am glad I brought it to Nigels attention cause they almost had us for a minute there.But as I said they didn't like you my friend so they didnt like me.It will be funny to see what Joes does now.

Yes it seems Nigel has had other people tell him about it too. Or maybe Graceland revealed that to him I don't know. Thing is I bet Nigel and a lot of others are really surprised over Joes actions here. You know there is so much one must consider when you think about what these two are up to. Here you have a well known Elvis world character who is respected and has always stated Elvis is dead and pretty much called all the alive people nuts. This is someone who apparently is close to PP and LMP. This guy is on Larry King and appears all over the place. My thoughts on this just run in all different directions because like I said this is just mind boggling as to why he is doing soemthing like this. As for Joe I not liking me I can't really figure that out. We have had very little contact. I can only assume he does not like my approach to things or he reads me as someone who can't be manipulated whatever I really don't care. All I can say is that I did take a stand for him and the rest of the MM when others were verbally beating on them as vulchers. Mind you I did make statements about all of them over certain things they said in books and contradicted elsewhere, but hey that was only fact driven. The more I think about this latest episode the more I am starting to wonder about the involvement some may have really had in the Alive scams. For instance. Whenever we heard a story Joe was always in the know about the great escape plans. Hell Vernon was even left out of the loop which I could never swallow no matter how they painted him, he was still Elvis father and while maybe a simpler man I don't think he would ever had betrayed his son. So this brings one to the bottom line. Was Joe involved all this time with the stories? The guy least expected! I don't know but it certainly will bring some debate I am sure. The only other thing is, will we find out that there is something more to all this "contest" than what we know at the moment. To be completely fair I can't for the life of me figure why he would do something so blatantly silly. Its not like just one person is coming forward on this so they can deny all they want, it happened. So what now?

As far as my emails to Nigel goes this was the first that he had heard about any concerns about this fixxed contest.Unless after I emailed him and he posted the story I gave maybe others came forward.I dunno..but I am keeping tabs on things.

I went and read it and my impression is that he talked to Graceland and they said people are calling them about it so he probably verified what you said and then put up the story.
