CKX, Inc. (NASDAQ: CKXE) announced today that its subsidiary, Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., has agreed to acquire the assets of the Elvis-A-Rama museum, located off the strip in Las Vegas, including the trademark to the name "Elvis-A-Rama," the related website and a substantial portion of the memorabilia currently on display at the Las Vegas-based establishment. The existing museum will be permanently closed and the Elvis-A-Rama name retired as part of CKX's overall plan to bring a world class Elvis-themed attraction to the Las Vegas strip.
Now this is interesting! I wonder. Just where this new attraction will be in Vegas? Hmm maybe in Steve Wynns Hotel? Speaking of Wynn did you know his brother Ken Wynn was Colonel Parkers aide? Did you know that Joe Esposito is going to work at Steve Wynns new hotel as a host? You should read up on Steve Wynn . That boy has done alright for himself . I don't know maybe Sillerman will pull this Elvis thing off big time! Hell I might even buy shares. Seems to me from a business point of view Elvis may be in transiton. After all look at what Disney Land/World did for Mickey Mouse!
