Parsons Reply to Author | Forward | Print | Individual Message | Show original | Report Abuse Lampr I don't know much about Johnny Harra except that when a friend of mine managed an Elvis Impersonator back in the mid 70's that sounded so much like Jimmy Ellis its still scary (wish I still had that damned 8 track) Anyway at one of his shows (which by the way he didnt show up for) There was a picture of Johnny I thought it was Elvis till I took a look at the nose. The show went on anyway because my buddy also managed another guy by the name of Dave Richards that could put on a great show. The other guy well his name was ELI (Dale Culbertson) so see Allen there was an Eli before an Ellis. If it wasnt for the fact that Allen has assured us Jimmy was altogether I'd swear they were the same. See this Eli went off the deep end and thought he should be Elvis... Lost it totally lost it.... This was before Elvis died. Then Johnny did this god awful video fat as a old Boar Hog where he was mimicking Elvis being fat and on drugs. Lost some respect for the guy. But youre right he probablly doesnt need the bad press he's getting in here.

From: Eli Culbertson To: Date: Fri, Apr 13 01:24:49 2001 Subject: People have a tendency to forget how it really was in decades past. Ral Donner, Fabian, Ricky Nelson, Johnny Burnette, Cliff Richard, Billy Fury and so many more, was a part of what I like to call, 'The Elvis Era'. The term, 'Elvis Impersonator', hadn't even been created in the 50's or 60's. The music industry has always been in the cookie cutting business. Once they find a product that sells they start copying it.Usually at the expense of an artists individuality. It was just the same during the Beatles Era, as it has been in every musical era since then. ? was, unfortunately, forced into the Elvis mold. Like so many other gifted and talented artists he was made to follow the trend that had been set by Elvis. But he was never an impersonator! I can closely relate to ? story because I was one of those artists. I never wanted to be an Elvis impersonator. I just happened to bear a strong natural resemblance to the King. But my music was my own. Sometimes an individual, though like another, has something of their own to share. The music industry has never cared about talent. They're only concerned with sales. It's a shame that the public has been robbed of the pleasure of experiencing these uniquely, gifted artists. Is one apple just the same as another? Apples may all look pretty much the same but they're not. What a shame it is to assume otherwise. So many great artists have been lost in the shadow of a legend. Sincerely, ElyCulbertson@ .net

Florida Georgia Line is my favourite country music band. Headliners Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley are those people that can make anyone sing along. It's the reason I like to attend their concerts. And - that's surprisingly beatiful - in 2019 they have CAN'T SAY IT AIN'T COUNTRY TOUR which covers all the USA cities and towns. For tickets info visit Florida Georgia Line Concerts 2020.

Breaking Benjamin is my favourite rock-band of 2000s. They had so many hits! The ones I remember are 'The Diary of Jane', 'Tourniquet' and their hit 'So Cold'. These are real songs, not fake ones like today! And it is sooo good that Breaking Benjamin have a tour in 2020! So I'm going to visit Breaking Benjamin concert this year. The concert setlist is here: Breaking Benjamin tour 2019. Click on it and maybe we can even visit one of the performances together!
