As the storie continues and Elvis still dead as a doornail the people needed something to help soften the broken hearts and the hurt fans.1980 the rumors of Elvis being alive start to fly.Elvis was said to have faked his death and went into hiding to save his own life and his family.The story is actually interesting cause someone some group started these rumors of it happening.Why? to ease the broken fan or to fill their own personal inner gap? Or was it to make a buck off the story? For every action there is a reaction.And boy did this set off world reports.Could Elvis be alive? Is it really true? and last but not least, Where is the proof? Where is it you may ask? Well thats where all this takes a turn cause as fast at they made the comment they had to have some proof and that led to more lies and wild day dreams of the impossible.So they ran with what ever came to mind and made it sound right.With the media you can say anything and it sound true.In America if you want something bad enough you can and will get it.And they did the book deals came through and the tv talk shows and during all this they needed one thing.Elvis..So they found a pretty good sound alike and someone who could write just like Elvis and they began making these tapes videos and letter all from Elvis and all saying the same thing.If i was dead and wanted peace I sure as hell wouldn't have contacted these crazy people.If I did fake my death and had no plans on ever being back why make letters and tapes and videos? This defeats the purpose of faking ones death.And people history does repeat itself.Every 3 years there is a new Elvis is alive story and a new song letter or so called new group saying they are helping Elvis and they know its him.Its not new groups at all its the same old group with new members added to it.I will get into these people name by name in later posts.These peoples stories are about as sound as the Titanic.And we all know with holes you sink really fast.
