You all listening to the big deal made about Tom Cruise statements on Phsychiatry? Well I have been . I for one cannot bear SCIENTOLOGY! However I agree for the most part with Tom Cruise on this issue. One thing I noticed tonight while watching 360 on Cnn is that it seems that some people think Cruise shouldn't have an opinion on anything. Stupid polls were taken as to how his stance would affect his movies and career. Why should it affect them? I like his movies and think he is a good actor. His opinion on any matter won't make me not watch his movies. If he made a movie on something I considered vile perhaps I wouldn't watch that particular movie but thats about it. How many people do you know that are on anti depressants for ridiculous reasons. Most are! In my experience which is not immense but is somewhat grounded I can't help but agree with Cruise that Phsychiatry is a bunch of Horseshit. The first thing they do is get out the old scrip pad. Half the time they are not even listening to you. At least half of them are nuts to begin with. I got pushed into seeing one because of so called depression as a result of nearly getting killed in an accident. My view of these guys is they can't tell depression from a gas blockage! If you ever read the poster which gives you the signs of depression you will probably notice what I did. That 9.9 out 10 people must be depressed! I think its time these jerks that are classed as doctors were put under the gun. There are way too many people on drugs out there that don't need to be. By the way I have met in my life two people now who were under phsychiatric care for depression and both long term users of various drugs> I know others but these two committed suicide. They noticeably got worse while under these marvelous sedations. Drugs do not cure they mask. They put your mind in another zone where it does not deal with things. I think Elvis understood this well Didn't he! "I would rather be out of it" Too Bad someone didn't help him deal with IT!
