Jon, Its come to my attention by a few people that your running your mouth about me again & that the things your saying are pretty vile & in such that the people telling me this dont want to repeat it all. And they all have asked me why I let you say these things & ofcourse I dont let you do anything & honestly your starting to really annoy the piss out of me. I will give you one warning & Im doing it here this way you cant say I didnt warn you. So heres your warning... If you keep running your mouth about me & talking your smack about me I will come after you myself & stop it. I dont need others to fight my battles for me & I am far from being scared by you or your lot. You keep it up & you will see what happens. Paul

Mr. Gotner,
I have been an Elvis fan since "Baby Let's Play House". I am a born again follower of Jesus Christ, and a deacon and music director in the church I attend. I turned 76 years old on August 11, 2014. If you are not Elis Presley, why not say so? If you're not, I hope he was saved before he passed away. If you are Elvis, you will be 80 years old January 8, 2015. It has been my hope to walk the streets of glory with Elvis. So if you are Elvis, I hope you are saved. Should I ever come into possession of any information proving you are, it would be a secret that I would take to heaven with me when I depart this earth.

Elvis knew the Lord - but, I think he faltered along the way of the journey of being a believer, like we all do at times.
However, I've read that he did repent the night before his death and even asked Ricky Stanley (who later became a minister in his own right) to pray with him. He dreaded the release of the book, "Elvis: What Happened?" (which, actually, was in stores by July, 1977 - not August as it's always been widely known) and was scared to know what his fans might think of him being a drug addict.
He, apparently, was also going to tell the fans that he was going to get help for his drug addiction - but only if the fans started booing him. Elvis was still selling out arenas but - his record sales were nowhere near what they were twenty years earlier (Rick Nelson was in the same situation at the time, sadly) but, strangely, Elvis was still RCA's biggest selling artist and when he died, he literally saved the company from having to go bankrupt. |
